Still Life Photography

At our kickoff event to announce our theme for this year’s issue, Sudden Song, the Wineskin team compiled a collection of objects to be subjects for still-life photography using a camera kindly provided by our advisor, Harrison Dietzman.

Many of the submissions this year shared a theme of noticing and appreciating the little things in life. Perhaps still life, particularly with subjects as meaningful as Clara’s beloved duck lamp, is a perfect way to slow down, zoom in, focus, and capture the special little things in your life.

Without futher ado, here are the delightful and creative results of your photography!
